When equipped with the available V8 and Class III/IV Trailer Tow Package, Sport Trac 4x2 can tow up to 3248 kg (7160 lbs.). Trailer Sway Control is included and applies vehicle braking if the trailer begins to sway when travelling in windy conditions or over rough pavement.
Don’t let that rock trail intimidate you. Sport Trac is equipped with an independent rear suspension that provides 224 mm (8.8 in.) of total vertical rear-wheel travel that contributes to its agility.

This electronic stability control system actually measures what other manufacturers’ systems ignore or can only estimate. Our system features a vehicle-roll motion sensor in addition to AdvanceTrac’s Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), traction control and yaw control. RSC uses the sensor to directly measure the vehicle’s rollrate at least 100 times every second, which helps determine when and how the system will apply individual brakes and modify engine power to help keep all 4 wheels firmly planted.
