Trailer Sway Control works in conjunction with our exclusive AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability ControlTM). Together, they monitor the yaw motion of the vehicle to determine if the trailer may be swaying and to take measures, such as reducing engine torque or applying precise vehicle braking, to help bring both vehicle and trailer under control.

Explorer is available in 3 seating configurations. For 7 people, choose the 2ndrow 60/40 split-folding bench seat and the available PowerFoldTM 3rd-row seat. To accommodate 6, combine the available Quad Bucket Seating and 3rd-row seat. Meanwhile, to seat 5 on XLT and Eddie Bauer, the standard 2nd-row 60/40 split-folding bench seat is all you need.
A rear cargo cover is optional on Explorer 5-passenger models to keep items in the rear hidden from view. With the 2nd-row seat folded flat, up to 2398 litres (84.7 cu. ft.) of cargo space is available.
The PowerFold™ 3rd-row 50/50 split seat is standard on Limited (optional on Eddie Bauer and XLT). Those seated in the 3rd row can easily exit the vehicle on their own thanks to a release built into the back of the 2ndrow seat. Available Dual INViSiON® DVD Headrests can make long trips more enjoyable.
